Enhancing visibility

Features lack visibility, reducing engagement.

Through research interviews conducted with existing users, I was able to determine the need to increase feature clarity. This was a major issue for the company as an entire group of settings was not being utilized by their clients.

Life moves pretty fast.

The ideal user works in a fast-paced environment and needs quick access to update and review site features. This requires the system to provide access via intuitive setting updates for quick operation.

Where am I?

The existing flow left users running into dead ends, or even unaware of the security features available. I wanted to end the goose chase. No one likes to dig for an answer, make it front and center. So some quick brainstorm sketching began, and a low fidelity wireframe was born…

Testing, testing…is this thing on?

Utilizing Maze I was able to collect the results of the initial prototype and found a 100% success rate!

And we are live!

I moved forward with my design concept and created a high-fidelity prototype. The goal remains the same, to continue enhancing the visibility and creating better ease of use. With the new design, there are no longer hidden features thus preventing confusion for the user.

The User can now easily locate the general settings to update as needed.

Users scroll through to select necessary security settings.

A confirmation popup displays so the user is made aware the updates were implemented.
